Legal Operations Manager

Develop Case Pricing Structures:
Created and maintained comprehensive case pricing guidelines to ensure clarity and consistency for the Contracts department when billing clients.
Attorney Assignment and Fee Management:
Serve as the primary liaison for assigning attorneys to immigration hearings and other case-related activities.
Provide fee schedules for contracts, ensuring accurate billing for legal services rendered.
Accountability for Case Analysis and Records:
Oversee the Case Analysis and Records Department, ensuring accurate and compliant maintenance of immigration case files.
Conduct regular audits to uphold internal standards and regulatory requirements.
Accountability for Legal Team Performance:
Hold the legal team accountable for meeting performance metrics and client service standards.
Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and facilitate professional development opportunities.
Streamline Legal Processes and Templates:
Develop and implement streamlined processes and standardized email templates to enhance operational efficiency and client communication.
Implementation of Procedures:
Establish and enforce procedures for consistent immigration case handling, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
Review and Adjust Case Pricing Strategies:
Periodically review and adjust pricing strategies for immigration cases based on market trends, case complexity, and firm objectives.
Provide Strategic Direction on Case Management:
Offer guidance and direction on case strategy, ensuring alignment with client objectives and legal requirements.
Case Facilitation and Client Relations:
Act as a facilitator for case-related document exchanges and client inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Monitoring Case Updates and Next Steps:
Stay informed of case developments and provide strategic recommendations for the next steps in client interactions and contractual obligations.
Quality Control and Communication Standards:
Ensure high standards of case quality control and effective communication practices across the legal team.
Implement quality control measures for legal files and enhance the package review process for accuracy and completeness.
Human Resources Responsibilities:
Manage hiring and termination processes, including reviewing resumes, organizing legal team structures, and conducting performance reviews.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a legal operations role, preferably within an immigration firm or related field.
- Proven track record in managing legal operations, including case management, workflow optimization, and process improvement.
