Position SummaryThe Fulfillment Specialist plays a crucial role in our operations by ensuring the accurate and efficient packaging of customer orders while maintaining high-quality standards for finished goods. This multifaceted role involves meticulously inspecting products for defects and discrepancies before they are shipped to customers. The Fulfillment Clerk must be detail-oriented, organized, and committed to upholding the company's quality assurance standards. This position is integral to ensuring customer satisfaction and the smooth functioning of our fulfillment process.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Duties & Responsibilities
  • Inspect, weigh, count, and package a variety of small and medium products.
  • Properly operate and clean various parts in vapor degreaser. 
  • Assemble cardboard containers and select preassembled containers appropriate for each product.
  • Maintain a pace to meet both schedule and daily production needs; keeps pace with the press room output. 
  • Check daily schedule and fulfill sales orders. 
  • Make labels, apply to products, pack orders into appropriate containers.
  • Verify accurate piece counts of all packed items against sales orders and report shortages if necessary.
  • Carry or use pallet jack to transport shipments from workstation to warehouse or shipping area.
  • Perform incoming inspection of all products per company procedures prior to packaging of products for shipment.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and storage area.
Position Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. 
  • One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong time management
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in counting, weighing, and measuring
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure products meet quality standards as defined by company documents and quality procedures.
Physical Requirements
  • The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. There are often prolonged periods of sitting or standing depending on the task at hand.
  • Must be able to periodically lift, carry, and move up to 30 pounds with or without team assistance.
  • Needs to be able to grasp and manipulate small parts and components, requiring steady hands and good hand-eye coordination and fine attention to detail to inspect finished goods for minute imperfections.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
