Responsibilities
  • Build Relationships: Establish and nurture connections with regulatory officials, staff, and clients. Develop, maintain, and enhance successful relationships with existing and potential clients. Your efforts will ensure seamless collaboration and impactful regulatory outcomes.
  • Provide Guidance: Assist in advising clients on compliance with federal and state laws, rules, and regulations. Empower clients with knowledge by analyzing complex regulatory information and translating it into clear, concise communication for clients.
  • Conduct Research: Dive deep into the specifics of rural broadband regulations, funding requirements, and grant compliance. Conduct in-depth research on federal and state regulations specific to rural broadband deployments and award funding requirements. Your insights will help shape our strategic direction.
  • Develop Resources: Help create and maintain essential compliance tools for clients and internal teams. Develop and maintain compliance resources for clients and internal staff, drawing on your understanding of relevant regulations. Your contributions will ensure everyone has the resources to succeed.
  • Communicate Clearly: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, advisories, and communication strategies. Prepare presentations and client advisories on new regulations, actively participating in brainstorming sessions to develop effective communication strategies. Your impactful messaging will resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Support Education: Assist in compliance education through engaging webinars, training sessions, and insightful written materials. Educate clients about compliance requirements through webinars, training, and written materials. Your efforts will help demystify complex regulations for our clients.
  • Maintain Communication: Maintain clear and timely communication with clients, ensuring they receive the necessary information.
  • Support Business Growth: Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and funding opportunities—support and drive business development initiatives. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes impacting rural broadband. Your support in business development will help unlock new avenues and drive our growth.
  • Collaborate for Solutions: Participate in team meetings, offering creative solutions to regulatory and funding challenges. Work across teams to find and implement innovative solutions in response to complex regulatory challenges. Your contributions will foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Take the initiative: Embrace additional duties and support projects that propel our department toward its goals. Participate in team meetings, actively contributing to discussions and brainstorming solutions. Leverage your experience to identify areas where you can take initiative and contribute unique perspectives. Your initiative and drive will be instrumental in our success.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Perform additional tasks to support the department's goals and initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required. 
  • Minimum of one to three years of professional experience in the telecommunications regulatory space.
  • Grant compliance management is a plus.
  • Laser-focused attention to detail and a passion for exceptional client service.
  • Stellar verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SmartSheets, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Organizational wizardry for juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • The ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative team setting.
  • Proven ability to build trusting relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
