Role Overview: Information Security Analyst

As an Information Security Analyst at InterSources, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's information assets. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of critical functions aimed at enhancing our security posture and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Expertise in IT Controls: Exhibit a thorough understanding of IT controls, conducting comprehensive risk assessments and security evaluations.
  • Program Innovation: Identify and implement opportunities for innovation and enhancement within our security programs.
  • Supplier Cybersecurity Assessments: Ensure that cybersecurity assessments of suppliers are conducted effectively and efficiently.
  • On-Site Control Validations: Carry out on-site validations of controls for key suppliers to ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Security Audit Engagements: Independently plan and execute security audit engagements, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Evaluation of Security Controls: Assess supplier security controls in accordance with established cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Advisory Role: Provide guidance to business leaders regarding information security risks associated with suppliers.
  • Third-Party Risk Management: Offer subject matter expertise in managing risks related to third-party vendors.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 6 years of experience in information security and auditing.
  • Security Assessment Proficiency: Strong understanding of security assessment and audit principles.
  • Networking Knowledge: Familiarity with networking principles and data protection methodologies.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to derive conclusions from data analysis.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Framework Familiarity: Knowledge of information security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST CSF.
  • Certifications: Preferred certifications include CISA, CISSP, and CISM.
  • Language Proficiency: Effective communication skills in English are essential.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to thrive in a diverse global team environment.
  • Work Approach: A proactive and independent work style is essential for success in this role.
