Peabody, United States Analogic Corporation Full time
Job DescriptionJob Description

In this newly created and highly visible role, you will drive our business growth, focusing on identifying and closing deals with critical new customers and expanding our market share with existing customers. Reporting directly to the SVP of Power Technologies (Head of the business), you will lead a small but high-performing, highly technical, global sales team.

In this high-impact role, you’ll get to:

· Build something new and showcase your impact.

· Be a pivotal member of a new leadership team in a thriving business unit.

· Partner with Engineering and Operations VPs to propel the business forward.

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution across Existing and New Markets:

· Develop and execute strategies to expand the market share for our RF and Gradient amplifiers and Motor drives with existing customers, and farm additional opportunities within those customers
· Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new industries, new customers and new product applications for our RF and Gradient amplifiers and Motor drives, and secure meaningful growth with customers who have not previously utilized our products.

Examples could include:

o Semiconductor wafer fabs could benefit from our industry-leading non-captive amplifiers

o Warehouse operations where motor drives could enhance automated picking and packing

o Expand our relationship with a customer where our products are utilized in some of the customers’ offerings, but not all

· Work with underserved markets to identify potential game-changing features and functionalities by building trust and partnerships and gaining deeper insights into customer obstacles and functional needs, enabling targeted product development.

· Collaborate with existing customers, Value-Added Resellers (VARs) and Distributors to drive the design-in of our products.

Sales Management and Team Leadership:

· Lead a geographically diverse sales team, including a European sales leader with an applications engineer, sales representatives in China, and a North American sales director.

· Conduct regular meetings with the team, providing direction and managing their efforts to achieve ambitious sales targets.

Business Intelligence and Sales Data

· Lead the strategy, deploy necessary tools to track the sales funnel, and provide critical insights on sales trends, market information, and accurate forecasts.

· Provide monthly update to executive team members.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Rain Maker who creatively gains access to target customers and influences them to adopt Power Technologies products.
  • Strategic Thinker with a knack for identifying unique market opportunities.
  • 8+ years sales experience with products similar to power amplifiers and industrial motion controllers (highly technical designed-in hardware and software products)
  • Verifiable track record expanding market share in existing markets with new and existing customers, and taking a company's technical product portfolio and finding new industries where it is applicable, successfully building a pipeline and closing on new sales wins.
  • Strong leadership skills with a history of managing and motivating sales teams in a technical manufacturing organization and products with industrial applications.
  • Ability to build trust and partnerships with customers in underserved markets.
  • Experience deploying sales tools and infrastructure (you have at least lived through a Salesforce implementation and bring an opinion on how it should be configured).
  • BS in Business Administration, Science or equivalence (we will consider candidate with years of relevant experience and track record of accomplishments)

Desired:

  • Background in the Power Amps and Drives industry, with expertise in potential applications in the semiconductor or military airspace industries.
  • Experience leading a global sales function highly desired.
  • Previously led or deeply involved in a Salesforce or CRM implementation.
