Job Description:

City Harvest is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Command Center Coordinator to support our day-to-day planning, logistics, and routing operations. The ideal candidate will proactively provide updates to stakeholders, adjust routes based on organizational needs, and ensure all undeliverables and food packaging requests are accurately processed. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support day to day planning, logistics, and routing for City Harvest’s operations.
  • Proactively provide updates to stakeholders on driver arrival and departure time to achieve a 90% on time performance goal.
  • Adjust routes based on the needs of the organization as well as driver staffing levels, special events, or community partnerships.
  • Process the morning and afternoon undeliverables; Confirm all AM or PM undeliverables are accurately processed by EOD by cross-referencing Samsara, Power BI, and driver manifests.
  • Process all Food Packaging Requests for donors, agencies and PPE supplies in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and strategically assign to routes. Report weekly success rate to all departments that place requests and achieve goal of 90% delivery success rate.
  • Handle email, chat, phone, and in-person inquiries efficiently, providing timely and accurate information to supply chain members to aid decision-making and operational flow.
  • Collaborate with transportation and warehouse teams to identify and resolve issues in logistics processes.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Samsara, and other logistics software. PowerBI is a plus.
  • Ability to handle inquiries and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
