What You Will Do
- Support the implementation of new programs and optimize existing technical security systems including alarm programs, access control, monitoring interfaces, technical equipment and on-premise devices
- Plan, evaluate, and upgrade technical security systems (alarms, access control, CCTV) for new and existing locations
- Implement best practices for the utilization of physical security systems, investigation techniques, and distribution center loss mitigation techniques
- Collaborate with third-party security vendors to ensure guard coverage is scheduled and executed for all salon locations and events
- Partner with Production, Inventory, and Sales teams to streamline merchandise delivery and reporting
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents, investigations, and remediation efforts and prepare comprehensive reports for management and regulatory purposes
- Monitor and audit all systems (CCTV, surveillance tools, alarms) across locations for performance and effectiveness
- Coordinate Everbridge workflow and train the organization on disaster/crisis preparedness plans
- Identify opportunities for consolidation of vendors and/or interfaces as applicable
- Train and educate the organization on disaster and/or crisis preparedness and response plans, such as instances of natural disaster, intruders or break-ins, system failures, workplace violence, and more
- Establish and maintain strong connections with local law enforcement within each location's community
What You Bring
- Demonstrated success in security service, asset protection, audit, risk management, inventory control, and quality assurance
- End to end management of security systems – implementation, customization, and optimization
- Previous security experience within a professional corporate environment
- Advanced technical skills and experience working with various security systems and software such as CCTV, Everbridge, etc.
- Ability to implement, manage and optimize security technology and other tools to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with expertise in Excel for budgeting and organizing projects and events
- Skilled in creating training decks and manuals for presentations using MS PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple projects, tracking timelines and progress using Wrike (project management software)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Pay Transparency
Targeted base compensation is $65,000 plus annual bonus. The total compensation package is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Our Work Environment
Our workplace is clean, orderly, appropriately lighted and ventilated with the proper safety compliance. Noise levels are considered low and daily physical activities are considered light: office work, seldom lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, stooping, kneeling, or walking. Employees must have the stamina to work long hours if assigned. Hours and days of work may vary by position.
