Key Responsibilities:

  • Under direct supervision, perform assigned tasks from detailed instructions, established policies, and procedures.
  • Protect the organization's physical assets by maintaining and safeguarding the physical perimeter, exterior, and interior perimeters of the facility.
  • Provide security protection by utilizing and monitoring the organization's building automation system, electronic surveillance systems, and other monitoring devices.
  • Utilize and maintain electronic surveillance and detection systems through security console operations to include; Security, Fire Access Control, HVAC, and executive support.
  • Based on console indications or event(s), identify, initiate, and coordinate appropriate response/notification based on security guidelines.
  • Provide first point of contact for situations involving off-site facilities, medical services, computer center, weekend media inquiries, and consumer hotline.
  • Enter and retrieve data utilizing the organization's security management system.
  • Assist in the smooth operation of post and shift operations.
  • Keep accurate log of events and occurrences based on security guidelines.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 0 years of experience.
  • Prior emergency services experience is preferred (Military, Law Enforcement, Emergency Dispatch).
  • Expert ability to multitask and being an acute listener is a must.
  • High level of attention to detail and procedure following.
