Job Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous and dependable Unarmed Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The main duty of this role is to oversee access to a secured area, confirming that only authorized personnel gain entry. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, outstanding communication abilities, and a strong dedication to fostering a secure environment for both clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise access points, including entrances and exits, to regulate the movement of personnel and vehicles.
  2. Authenticate the identity of individuals requesting entry by reviewing identification and credentials.
  3. Implement access control policies to deter unauthorized access and uphold facility security.
  4. Issue temporary access credentials to visitors and contractors, ensuring proper supervision.
  5. Maintain detailed records of access control activities, including visitor logs and delivery documentation.
  6. Assist visitors and employees with inquiries regarding access protocols and entry requirements.
  7. Report security incidents, safety concerns, or equipment issues to the appropriate authorities.
  8. Stay updated on security protocols and emergency procedures through continuous training.
Qualifications:
  1. Possession of a BSIS Guard Card.
  2. Prior experience in security or access control is advantageous but not mandatory.
  3. Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately verify identification.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging professionally with diverse individuals.
  5. Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  6. Basic computer skills and familiarity with access control systems.
  7. Physical capability to stand or sit for long periods and occasionally lift equipment.
  8. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Training in emergency response, CPR, or first aid.
  2. Experience with electronic access control systems.
  3. Certifications in non-lethal defense methods.
  4. Possession of a duty belt.
