As an Alarm Monitoring Specialist, your role parallels that of a 911 emergency dispatcher, requiring keen attention and the ability to execute procedures with precision and urgency, as our industry is focused on life safety.

This full-time position operates within our state-of-the-art 24/7 Alarm Monitoring Center. Alarm Monitoring Specialists work on a rotating schedule that may include various shifts, holidays, and weekends, and the role necessitates onsite reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to all incoming alarm signals using our automation software, adhering to established protocols. When necessary, contact the premises, alert authorities, and notify designated contacts, ensuring all information is logged accurately in the automation system.
  • Manage a multi-line telephone system effectively.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of customer information at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; some college education preferred.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Typing speed of 30+ words per minute.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Capable of following both written and verbal instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform duties with urgency and accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • A positive attitude towards teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Completion of a pre-hire typing assessment is required.
  • Selected candidates will undergo paid training and must pass a final exam to certify their skills as an Alarm Monitoring Specialist.
