Who We Want
The role of the Trade Support Specialist focuses on helping the firm and its advisors by ensuring accuracy and timeliness in trade processing. The Trade Support Specialist provides support to the Advisor by resolving inquiries related to trading at Carson. In addition to ensuring training related materials are accurate, straightforward, and easy to use.
What To Expect
- Issue resolution with internal and external teams
- Coordinating with internal and external teams to develop and maintain procedure documentation and training.
- Coordinating with the Training team to provide instruction on Partner trade operations
- Coordinating with the Transitions team to assist Partners in transition to understand trade processes and procedures.
- Other duties related to trading and investment operations as assigned
- Work directly with Carson advisors to educate them on trading best practices and help resolve trading issues
What You Need
- Intermediate level of skill in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc)
- Familiar with, or eager to learn new technology skills
- Familiar with trade operations and custodial platforms
- Ability to prioritize his/her responsibilities and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate confidence to proactively identify potential concerns that call for formal attention as well as ability to communicate that potential concern professionally.
- Flexibility and a strong ability to multi-task while remaining highly organized with attention to detail
- Ability to explain processes and procedures while acting in a professional manner
- Superior customer service skills with a sense of urgency and excellent response times required
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 2-3 years of operations and/or trade experience in a fast-paced environment, at a registered investment advisory firm is preferred.
- FINRA Series 7 preferred
- Orion experience preferred
- Experience with Salesforce a plus
