where all hours worked—whether billable or non-billable—are compensated. Our operational hours are from 8am to 6pm.

The Behavior Support Specialist will undergo a training program established by the clinical team to prepare for the Registered Behavior Technician certification. Upon passing the exam, the following responsibilities will be undertaken:

  • Implementing skill acquisition and behavior intervention plans as directed by a supervising BCBA
  • Accurately collecting data for all treatment plans and behavior programs for BCBA analysis
  • Providing direct care while consulting with the BCBA for support, training, and supervision
  • Adjusting interventions as instructed by the supervising BCBA when necessary
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of each intervention and plan for clients on the assigned caseload
  • Keeping RBT credentials current by completing the RBT Competency Assessment annually as per BACB guidelines
  • Tracking RBT supervision hours to ensure compliance
  • Submitting the annual renewal of the RBT Competency Assessment and adhering to BACB Ethical Standards for RBTs.

Requirements for the Behavior Support Specialist:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to obtain a valid Registered Behavior Technician Certificate with the BACB
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background screening process
