Full time internship opportunity in Human Resources

- Partner with the Care New England Human Resources team to complete a special project supporting compliance reporting. Our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) team is leading this effort.

- Project Details: 1. Run, gather and compile report information on employee activity, 2. Format and prepare preliminary data results, 3. Review preliminary data results with HRIS team and make necessary formatting and related edits per need, and 4. Prepare final reports and supporting information required for Leadership presentations and follow up. The work is detailed, involves consistent data review and analysis, and data entry.

- Work Information:

1. Assignment Time: Internship is targeted for 3 months/90 days. The start and end dates can be flexible based on intern availability, and status of the project work. Target start date is June 2024.

2. Schedule: Standard business hours and up to 40 hours per week. Based on project activity, the hours per week can be flexible per intern availability and need but the position is expected to be full time. Per project completion results, there may an opportunity to adjust the work schedule to part time as long as that change meets the project completion expectations.

3. Location: Initial orientation and work will be completed at our Pawtucket RI HR office. As work continues, there may be the ability to complete activity off site at the discretion of the HRIS project lead.

4. Experience; In addition to the job requirements listed below, the intern (s) on the project will need to be comfortable using Microsoft Excel for data downloads, formatting, and general analysis.

5. Salary: This is a paid internship.

Job Summary:

The Student Intern CNE provides various support services to the department based on needs and workload within the department and identified personal learning objectives.

Assists department staff in coordination of projects and activities to meet department objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

A. Provides department support functions based on overall learning objectives and needs of the department.

B. Assists in coordination of special projects as needed.

C. Maintains confidentiality of any sensitive information within the department.

D. Performs other related duties as requested.

Requirements:

High School degree, College level student required.

Knowledge of personal computers, including word processing and statistical applications,

Strong communication and human relations skills.

Must be proficient in the English language.
