Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Clerk to join our team at Providence College. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and maintaining the accuracy of our HRIS system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform data entry into the HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of employment-related documents.
  • Scan and index employment-related documents into our electronic filing system, maintaining proper classification and organization.
  • Review new hire and change data paperwork to ensure all information is provided and accurate.
  • Provide front desk coverage as needed, answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and assisting employees with their needs.
  • Assist with testing system upgrades and process improvement analysis and documentation.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One to three years of experience in an office setting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.
