Propel Financial Services makes loans secured by real estate, specializing in Texas and Nevada property tax loans and commercial loans. Founded in 2007, Propel has made over 70,000 loans and is one of the largest property tax lenders in Texas.


We have an immediate, Full-Time opening for a Temporary Administrative Assistant to assist us with data compilation projects for a loan portfolio. This position will begin early May and will run until the end of October. This position is fully on-site, during standard business hours, at our Northwest San Antonio office and will report to the Default Management Manager.


Essential Functions

  • Researching loan files utilizing the internet, industry specific websites and verification by phone to determine the following:
    • Exemptions and deferrals currently in place with local taxing authorities;
    • Current CAD value; and
    • Appearance of property.
  • Compiling information from outside resources and internal systems into Excel workbooks.
  • Pulling and organizing compiled data using Excel functions such as Vlookup, Xlookup, Pivot Tables and Sumif to provide to the Default Management Manager, COO and the Director of REO for analysis.
  • Answering day to day informational requests from Operations, Default Management and REO and assisting with other data compilation projects for our leadership team.
Requirements:
  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Office 365 proficiency
  • Advanced Excel proficiency. Must be fully trained in the use of:
    • Vlookup
    • XLookup
    • Pivot Tables
    • Sumif
  • Proficiency conducting online research
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Previous background in real estate, finance or banking preferred.
  • Able to work standard office hours, Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm at our office located off DeZavala and I-10.
