Position Summary

The IT Systems Administrator plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining the key systems and applications that are integral to the bank’s enterprise technology infrastructure. This position involves a broad range of responsibilities that ensure the smooth operation and security of the bank's IT environment.

Overall, the IT Systems Administrator is a vital link between the bank’s technology infrastructure and its operational success, requiring a balance of technical expertise, communication skills, and strategic insight.

Primary Responsibilities

IT Systems Administration

  • Manage various IT systems across the Bank, including laptops, desktops, servers, printers, network devices, and circuits.
  • Provide support for advanced Audio/Visual and conferencing systems, including Crestron.
  • Support for Bank’s IT facilities, such as data centers and comm-room environments
  • Provide timely service to internal users and white glove service to Bank’s executives.
  • Follow the IT change management process to make sure Bank’s production environment stability.
  • Work closely with Bank’s Human Resources and IT Security teams to follow onboarding and off-boarding processes.
  • Work with physical and Virtual servers, deployment, and troubleshooting
  • Recommend solutions to improve the efficiency of the service desk and track SLA compliance.
  • Understand, document, and upgrade client technology to maintain a functional user environment and mission-critical application platforms.
  • Be an active participant in the work to determine, develop and deploy innovative technology solutions to address specific business needs.
  • Ensure our products and technology are used effectively and appropriately to add value to our business.
  • Support the long-term strategic goals for infrastructure and standards in conjunction with the needs of the business.

IT Access Control

  • Follow and enforce IT access control process to ensure all access changes are properly approved and implemented.
  • Collaborate with CISO and Bank’s IT security team on the access certification process.

IT Vendor Management

  • Develop strong working relationships with 3rd party technology vendors and manage key vendors effectively.
  • Collaborate with Managed Service Provider (MSP) to ensure consistency of technology services.

IT Regulatory Support

  • Work closely with the CTO and other members of the Technology team to address any audit or security concerns.
  • Assist with the collection of information and tracking for audit and regulatory needs.
  • Help with the development, implementation, and maintenance of technology policies, standards, and procedures.

Position Requirements

  • BS or information technology certifications recognized in the industry as an alternative.
  • 3 years of experience in IT support services, hands-on user support, and applications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, and Office 365 applications,
  • Experience managing and troubleshooting Windows, Apple Mac, and mobile devices.
  • Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Must present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail.
  • Fast learner and ability to continuously develop technical skills to stay current.
  • Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment.
  • Maintaining and improving internal processes related to technology and IT security.
  • Ability to provide technical knowledge transfer and training for internal users.
  • Must be able to occasionally travel within a 30-mile radius to branch locations to meet business needs.
