Business Development Associate Role

Altitude is seeking a Business Development Associate to support and lead projects that have a direct impact on the growth and success of the business. The ideal candidate is an exceptional leader with excellent communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced and mission-driven environment.
You will be joining a team of expert software engineers and business professionals that are focused on changing industrial automation with our best-in-class software platform, the Altitude OS. In this role, you will have meaningful interactions with the CEO as well as exposure to the day-to-day operations of a high-growth technology startup.
What You’ll Do
Develop and apply strategies to execute the business plan to achieve desired results (i.e., to increase client base, optimize operations, develop KPIs, etc.)
Work cross-functionally with the engineering team to scope product demos and develop new offerings.
Identify new customers and evaluate the company’s sales strategies.
Analyze market trends and advise on how to position the company to take advantage of them.
Assist in management operations to ensure successful long-term deployments at customer facilities.
Work closely with CFO to build-out financial modeling.
Create data-driven reports to position the company for future growth.
Work with AI and robotics experts and business professionals from Waymo, Google, Princeton, Carnegie Mellon, and BYU.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience in Business Development or related field, preferably in a startup environment.
Excellent writing skills, for communications and business process documentation.
Flexibility and adaptability to work within a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Experience with financial modeling is a plus.
Comfortable working in a startup environment as a self-starter.
