General Summary: This position is responsible for promoting the complete and growing line of the services Hulcher Resources offers prospects and customers in the agriculture channels, with the objective to achieve profitability at an efficient expense level.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Aggressively pursues new business with prospects and customers within the agriculture industry.
  • Maintains and supports customer account needs.
  • The candidate will engage in effective cold-calling measures, rekindling relationships previously established, strengthening existing relationships, and assembling a network of decision-makers to align with who are responsible for spending money on what HRI provides.
  • Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships internally and among a wide range of external contacts.
  • Develops strategic plans for revenue growth, customer service requirements, profitability, and expense control, making choices to spend more time on some accounts than others because their prospects for growth are just better than others.
  • Identify customer service needs, changes, and modifications to meet market demands.
  • Provides customers with information as requested, and coordinates customer solutions in being an advocate for their best interests.
  • Utilizes resources to keep current by identifying market trends within affected industries, capitalizing on opportunities, and attacking competitive threats to maintain an aggressive posture while reaching sales targets and objectives.
  • Identifies and maintains potential customers within the targeted industries using advertising campaigns, mailing lists, local and national trade events, and personal contacts
  • Must pass stringent background checks to be allowed on customer property.
  • Assumes a role as a valuable and actively contributing member of a high-performing team, a collection of people who rely on one another to compete aggressively, and achieve personal goals while working with teammates to reach common goals.
  • Will be responsible for assuming additional sales duties similar to what is currently offered, involving the sale of other services and/or products as HRI continues to develop new channels and market opportunities.
  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required.



Requirements:

Educational Requirements:

  • Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university
  • Ability to demonstrate some of the required talents in an interview/conversation setting


Experience Requirements:

Five years of related, seasoned experience along with formal education which has reached the level of a four-year college or university degree. Must have experience managing key accounts and/or regional accounts. Selling and having existing relationships within industries involving with agriculture products, environmental conditions, and/or industrial cleaning is a plus. Proficiency in building relationships with decision-makers, location managers, and regional leaders is required along with the ability to demonstrate creative methods to leverage relationships that generate the development of a vibrant collection of contacts in growing a business network.


Knowledge/ Skills:

  • Knowledge of the agricultural industry is required.
  • Strong ability to effectively communicate technical information to all types of people, both verbally and in writing; ability to multitask with strong proficiency in project management; strong communication, decision-making, analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills with a strong knowledge of conceptual/strategic selling methodology
  • Ability to influence people and negotiate with excellent persuasion skills
  • Ability to think on a strategic, “big picture” level
  • Ability to close business sales and demonstrate results
  • Ability to coach and team build across operational and department groups
