VP of Marketing - Roofing Products**

**Location:**Houston

**Overview:**

We are seeking an innovative and strategic VP of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts upon entry to the market. This role is pivotal in driving the development, implementation, and management of marketing strategies, go-to-market plans, and competitive analysis initiatives within the North American market. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of commercial roofing systems, particularly TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) and PIR (Polyisocyanurate), along with a proven ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies.

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps that align with business objectives and market opportunities in the commercial roofing sector.

- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for differentiation.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, R&D, and manufacturing to define product requirements, features, and enhancements.

- Drive the development and launch of new products, including market segmentation, pricing strategies, positioning, and messaging.

- Create and implement go-to-market plans for new product launches and existing product enhancements, ensuring alignment with sales and marketing teams.

- Monitor and analyze product performance, sales data, and market feedback to optimize product offerings and drive continuous improvement.

- Conduct competitive analysis to assess market positioning, pricing strategies, and product strengths and weaknesses relative to key competitors (e.g., Carlisle, Firestone, GAF, Atlas, Hunter).

- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop compelling sales tools, promotional materials, and campaigns that effectively communicate product value propositions.

- Provide product training and support to internal teams, distributors, and customers as needed.

- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements impacting the commercial roofing market.

**Additional Requirements:**

- Familiarity with the North American commercial roofing system, including TPO and PIR products, market dynamics, distribution channels, and customer segments is a plus. Contruction industry experience desired.

- Experience in developing and executing marketing plans, go-to-market strategies, and product lifecycle management in a related industry.

- Ability to analyze market research data, sales metrics, and competitive intelligence to inform product decisions and strategies.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple initiatives concurrently.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence stakeholders at all levels.

**Requirements:**

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, product marketing, or related roles within the roofing products industry.

- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products in competitive markets.

- Demonstrated ability to drive product innovation and lead cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.

- Knowledge of sales and marketing principles, including market research, pricing strategies, and promotional tactics.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Experience with CRM systems, market analysis tools, and project management software.

- Knowledge of sustainability initiatives and trends in the commercial roofing industry.

- Previous experience working with major North American roofing brands such as Carlisle, Firestone, GAF, Atlas, and Hunter is a plus.
