Job Summary The Marketing Communications (MarCom) Manager will play is a key member of Marketing and is responsible for promoting products and marketing initiatives across multiple platforms to drive brand awareness and to meet business goals. The MarCom Manager provides a dynamic and creative mindset to manage diverse communication strategies, including digital marketing, corporate communications, and event planning. The MarCom Manager works closely with advertising vendors to meet internal or external deadlines and budgets. The MarCom Manager reports to the VP, Marketing and liaises with Regulatory and Business Development.

Duties and Responsibilities – Marketing (Downstream) Develop, refine, and prepare marketing content for promotional materials, ensuring clarity, effectiveness, and brand consistency Develop broad marketplace intelligence and a deep understanding of customer requirements Support execution of short-term and long-term marketing strategies and programs to support the company's commercial strategy and business development goals Track and trend marketing expense management, including sample production and use, and monitor cost of marketing per budget Execute product branding, brand guidelines, and brand recognition Liaise with Clinical to ensure sales and product training materials for educating end users, distributor sales forces, and independent distributors are compliant, effective, and valuable Liaise with Clinical to develop training curriculum and materials for educating representatives on product lines Support and collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure successful and timely commercialization of new products / product applications Develop, establish, implement, and control marketing collateral (labeling), such as surgical technique guides, training documents, presentations, white papers, advertisements, launch materials, exhibit materials, brochures, etc. including oversight of the company website Ensure compliance with regulatory policies and procedures, including product labeling and internal policies, and implement corporate compliance program and policies meeting the needs of the CMS Open Payment System Support marketing and product training sessions for distributor marketing forces and independent distributors, and support customer education during training courses, seminars, and key industry meetings and conferences Support the development and management of digital marketing strategies, including SEO/SEM, email campaigns, and social media platforms Innovate and maintain effective online engagement tactics to increase brand awareness and online presence Oversee marketing projects, ensuring timeline and budget are met and aligning with business objectives Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to facilitate marketing project execution Manage marketing collateral production across physical and electronic formats, including print, digital, and video Coordinate with Eng/R&D, Manufacturing, and Regulatory to ensure synchronized product release and promotional activities Liaise with VP, Marketing to develop and manage advertising campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, print, and broadcast Monitor and report on the effectiveness of advertising initiatives

Duties and Responsibilities – Business Development Liaise with Regulatory to author and disseminate compliant, high-quality, public-facing communications (i.e., social media posts, press releases, media outreach) to broad audiences, in alignment with company goals Support the development and execution of a comprehensive communication and public relations strategy that drives brand awareness for all market segments Assist in managing press relations, media inquiries, and corporate announcements Track and analyze the impact of public relations efforts Support the organization and execution of corporate events such as conferences, seminars, company-sponsored events, and product launches Coordinate corporate event logistics, manage vendor relationships, and ensure events align with corporate objectives and stay within budget Manage corporate messaging and event calendar and ensure coordination across departments.

Duties and Responsibilities – Quality (System) Training as required per Alafair Quality System

Education and Experience – Required Minimum 7 years of experience in marketing communications or related field, preferably in medical device Self-motivated contributor with strong interpersonal skills who can work collaboratively across departments Experience working with agencies and external partners Proven expertise in digital marketing, including SEO and social media management Effective project management skills, with experience managing timelines and budgets Excellent communication and content creation skills, with an eye for detail Strong presentation skills Experience with event planning and management Proficiency with MS Office, Google Workspace, and Adobe applications Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop Proficiency in marketing CRM tools (i.e. HubSpot) Experience with social media marketing and SEO best practices

Physical Requirements: Must be able to occasionally lift and move packages weighing up to 40 pounds Requires the ability to set up event properties and displays, which may include assembling stands, arranging furniture, and organizing materials Involves coordination and physical handling of materials for shipment and distribution to various locations The role may require standing for extended periods during events and activities

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel approximately 20% of the time

Education and Experience – Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field Experience in the healthcare or medical device sector is highly desirable
