SUMMARY
Ensuring that approved Drop Procedures are followed during the drop window while providing for a secure working environment for S&K Gaming facilities, employees, and guests. The protection of S&K Gaming facilities and assets, and manage security operations, vendors and assets engaged in protecting corporate facilities. At this time days off may be split. Shift will be a set 8-hour shift that will encompass the drop window and overlap with swing shift. This overlap will allow the Security Supervisor to finish their clerical duties and provide a leader on the Casino Floor and the rest of the property for the Security Team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Suggests updates to Policy and Procedures within the Security Department.
  • Manage and report on physical security assets.
  • Support management in all issues related to security.
  • Conduct or direct research, investigations, or special projects as assigned.
  • Ensure that a high standard performance and customer service are present in all work assigned.
  • Assist in hiring, and screening of qualified candidates for security positions as they become available.
  • Escorts terminated employees off premises if needed.
  • Responds to all concerns from casino or resort staff in a timely manner.
  • Maintains communication with Direct Supervisor regarding any issues that might reveal a weakness or vulnerable area of security that is discovered during operations.
  • Would respond to any emergency request at either property.
  • Ensure compliance with established rules and regulations. Assist in the recommendation, development, and implementation of improvements to systems and procedures.
  • Make recommendations, develop, and implement improvements to systems and /or procedures.
  • Provide leadership in the event of an emergency.
  • Evaluate daily operations of the security department making a concerted effort to eliminate all areas of weakness.
  • Complete working knowledge of Federal and Tribal Gaming Controls.
  • Working knowledge of casino operation. This includes all aspects of gaming operations.
  • Working knowledge of cash handling procedures, cage procedures, and shift manager duties. This includes all reporting that is required.
  • Must always maintain composure and strict confidentiality of all incidents to ensure guests privacy in all situations.
  • Assist with Drop Procedure at Kwataqnuk Resort and Casino if necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Will oversee the Casino Drop for the Security Department in conjunction with the Security Manager daily, will also direct other staff of the security department in regard to Security Policy, and Gaming Internal controls.
  • Ensuring that Policies and Procedures that have been approved by the CSKT Tribal Gaming Commission for the drop process are followed.
  • Maintain a working relationship with Machine Tech and notify them of machine malfunctions or any machine related problems that were discovered during the drop process.
  • Maintain a working relationship with the Count Team Supervisor for game, theme, and floor changes, or any other drop/count related problems.
  • Stay in contact with surveillance when drop is taking place and notifying them of any deviation from the approved drop process and will document and e-mail Security Manager, Security Supervisor, Surveillance Manager, Surveillance Supervisor, Casio Manager, and CSKT TGC Chair.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two or more years of experience in the security field.
CERTIFICATES/LICENSES & REGULATIONS
  • Required to complete Title 31 Bank Secrecy Act annually.
  • Required to watch Customer Service video annually.
  • Required to watch Sexual Harassment video every two (2) years.
  • Must obtain a First Aid/CPR card within three (3) months of hire date.
  • SOCS training within three (3) months of hire.
  • SafeServ certification required.
  • Must complete the gaming application and fingerprinting.
  • Valid Montana drivers license (preferred) and be insurable under the companys insurance policy.
  • This individual must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and as a condition of employment will be subject to random drug testing.
  • It is always the responsibility of the employee to always have all documents current and valid.
