Role Summary: Crunch Fitness is looking for a motivated and self-driven Talent Sourcing Specialist to join our talent acquisition team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for building the pipeline by proactively sourcing and engaging with potential talent for Crunch while providing exceptional candidate experience. This role will also provide support in the recruitment process as needed.

Reporting Relationship: Role reports to the Crunch Fitness Director of Recruiting

Travel Required: Minimal local travel may be required for recruiting activities

Location: New York, NY (with potential for hybrid or remote work arrangements).

Responsibilities:

1. Talent Sourcing and Recruiting:
  • Collaborate with the Recruiting Team to develop sourcing strategies to attract qualified Personal Trainer candidates.
  • Research and identify methods to build and maintain a talent pipeline of potential Personal Trainer candidates for future recruitment needs.
  • Develop relationships with colleges, personal training schools, organizations, and industry professionals to expand the candidate network.
  • Assist in organizing and attending recruitment events and job fairs to attract fitness talent.
  • Engage with candidates at events and provide information about Crunch Fitness and available opportunities.
  • Screen and review resumes and applications to assess candidates' qualifications.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience.
2. Recruitment Administration:
  • Post and refresh jobs in applicant tracking system (ATS) and various platforms.
  • Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) data, ensuring accurate and up-to-date candidate records.
  • Prepare and collect recruitment-related documents, such as employment contracts, certifications and CPRs.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications, Capabilities, and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a staffing, recruitment or sourcing role required.
  • Passion for fitness and a basic understanding of the Personal Trainer role.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with candidates effectively.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, ensuring all recruitment processes run smoothly.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proactive and results-driven with a sense of urgency to fill critical roles.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing recruitment needs and priorities.
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
