SUMMARY

The Global Compensation Manager is accountable for delivering results in day-to-day compensation activities such as compensation administration and evaluation for a team with a global footprint. The Global Compensation Manager partners with HR business partners, the Talent Acquisition team, business leaders, and other internal stakeholders on “pay-for” decisions, policy and guideline interpretation, and implementation of the Company’s compensation strategy.


Candidates would ideally be located in Atlanta (hybrid schedule) or Toronto Remote.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Financial:

  • Partner with HR business partners, Talent Acquisition team, business leaders, and other internal stakeholders’ on pay for decisions, policy and guideline interpretation, and job evaluation.
  • Perform external benchmarking/job evaluations primarily using Radford AON database, prepare analysis and presentations to support the team leader in continuously improving the Total Rewards mandate.
  • Provide input on compensation strategy to the team leader regarding what the Company can achieve considering what it can budgetand skill minimum of candidates vs critical needs.
  • Actively participate in the collaborative design and implementation of variable compensation plans, including working with the Sales Incentive Plan Compensation Manager.
  • Assist with stock plan administration, including delivering grant letters and preparing and presenting stock plan information.

Customer:

  • Make cohesive recommendations to drive process improvements in order to advance compensation workflows and program delivery.
  • Support internal business leaders by researching and responding to questions, interpreting policies, and otherwise assisting with compensation-related issues.

Business Process:

  • Responsible for generating accurate and timely reports as requested, with an expectation of delivering requested data in 24 hours for compensation leveling requests.
  • Participate in the development, review, implementation, and administration of new/revised compensation programs.
  • Responsible for completing compensation projects with little or no supervision/guidance.
  • Assist with planning and executing the annual merit cycle.
  • Assist with any required communication and change management related to the administration of current plans or the revision or creation of new compensation programs.
  • May participate in modeling and costing of a variety of programs as well as the year-end calculation processes.

Leadership and Team Development:

  • Leads the business process and may lead a team of two (2) individual contributors as the team develops.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business administration, Human Resources, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum five (5) years compensation experience (compensation analysis, job evaluation, salary and/or incentive plan analysis and administration) required, including researching and recommending compensation strategies for attraction and retention.
  • Minimum three (3) years stock plan administration; Equity Edge Online preferred.
  • Certified Compensation Professional or in progress of obtaining certification.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency required.
