Global Supply Chain Analyst

  • Greater Atlanta area (Canton, GA area)

A globally leading Medical Device Manufacturing organization is seeking a highly analytical Supply Chain Analyst to play an instrumental role for the development, implementation and improvements of the global logistics network. They are seeking a Supply Chain professional skilled in statistical analysis, data manipulation, and proven analytical skills within logistics, planning, or supply-chain processes.


Demand & Supply Planner Functions:

  • Manipulate data in various systems to find improvements in cost and/or transit time, maintain cost down projects, and otherwise support global supply chain team.
  • Development of standard reports and metrics to measure key Logistics Network KPIs.
  • Development and ownership of rate databases and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain financial and statistical analysis dashboards on Logistics activities.
  • Monitor initiatives against benchmark metrics to pro-actively highlight areas of opportunity and improvement through gap analysis and regular communication with key stakeholders.
  • Participate in the execution of Request for Proposal (RFP) process with Logistics team in each region and provide support on data collection and analytics through contract execution.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop and document current processes and procedures within the global Logistics area.
  • Assess global business processes in the Logistics area and work with inter-regional colleagues to develop standardized best practice processes and improve deficiencies.
  • Serve as the key global point of contact for specific Logistics process areas as identified.
  • Assist with integration activities for future acquisitions
  • Perform on-going data quality analysis and manage follow-up resolution with providers to ensure data accuracy.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Supply Chain/Logistics Analytics experience
  • Degree in a related discipline (e.g., engineering, supply chain, business, etc.), extensive experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Demonstrated analytical and business process skills
  • Passion for continuous improvements with the ability in manipulating data to explore, discover, investigate, visualize and to raise issues proactively and in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards or ERP system
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Power BI experience.
  • Must be able to relate well with individuals at various levels inside the organization
  • Ability to deal with regional cultural differences and requirements
