Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) to lead our efforts in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within our organization. The Director of D&I will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to ensure a diverse and inclusive workplace, fostering a culture of respect, and driving measurable improvements in diversity and inclusion outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive D&I strategy aligned with the company's mission and goals, including setting objectives, KPIs, and action plans.
  • Program Management: Design, implement, and manage D&I programs, training, and workshops that promote awareness, understanding, and engagement across all levels of the organization.
  • Policy and Practice Improvement: Review and enhance company policies, practices, and procedures to ensure they support an inclusive workplace and address any barriers to diversity.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and report on diversity metrics to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership, HR, and employee resource groups to drive D&I initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Education and Advocacy: Lead efforts to educate employees on diversity and inclusion issues, facilitate conversations, and advocate for the importance of these principles within the organization.
  • External Representation: Represent the company in external forums, conferences, and community events related to diversity and inclusion.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure the company's D&I efforts comply with relevant laws and regulations, and stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Sociology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in diversity and inclusion roles, with a track record of successful program development and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of D&I principles, practices, and challenges.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and use insights to drive strategic decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
