Community Sales Liaison

Under the supervision of the Sales and Enrollment Manager, the Community Sales Liaison is responsible for generating new enrollments for PACE Southeast Michigan (PACE SEMI) by building and maintaining relationships with community resources in all PACE service areas. The Community Sales Liaison will support enrollment growth by participating in community marketing, outreach, education and sales activities to establish strong relationships with new and existing referral sources.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build relationships and provide education in community on PACE as health plan and program to gain referrals for enrollment
  • Maintain business relationship with referral sources to allow for continual referral relationship for PACE enrollment
  • Manage daily appointments, presentations and related follow up, including personal thank you notes, scheduling appointments, calls and mailings
  • Meet and/or exceed sales/enrollment goals monthly
  • Report on current sales events/activities and maintain sales log weekly/as expected
  • Maintain all activity in Salesforce to allow for accurate and consistent follow-up
  • Assisting with marketing strategies by developing various elements essential for the enrollment growth of PACE SEMI
  • Arrange, plan and have presence at sales/marketing/enrollment events ie: presentations and trade shows for various projects related to enrollment, marketing and intake
  • Assist in preparing event announcements
  • Have vast and deep knowledge and understanding of the PACE program, including all aspects of qualifying new participants, health plan benefits and services
  • Provide assistance to entire Intake process through telephone screening, education, document preparation, provide tours of facilities, and coordination of potential
  • Ability to recognize issues and/or when to escalate an issue to a more senior team member.
  • Recognized ability to work both independently and as a member of a team, be self-driven, maintain own daily schedule to meet expectations of work
  • Proven organization skills to multitask while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines
  • Other assignments assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or years of relevant experience equivalent (5-8 years)
  • Minimum of one year work experience with the elderly.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow-through on planned tasks or activities, involving tracking, documentation, distribution, facilitation and communication.
  • Established ability to make decisions independently, to influence others and resolve issues.
  • Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to interact effectively across department lines and with varying levels of management.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet deadlines
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with proof of insurance and maintain an acceptable driving record.
  • Community Sales Liaison is required to have 10+ years of sales experience or 5+ years of PACE experience.
