Social Media Specialist

Started in 2012 by husband and wife team, Blue Line Aviation is a professional pilot school currently located in Smithfield, NC at the Johnston Regional Airport. We strive to push the status quo in flight training while providing quality and innovative training to our students.
We are seeking a social media specialist.
Responsibilities include:
- Content research, vision, structure, scripting and revisions.
- Development of systems and procedures.
- Post content and interact with people on social media.
- Assist in recording video and taking marketing photos.
- Assist sales/marketing teams in event planning.
- Work with the sales team to maximize sales potential through marketing plans and lead generation.
- Work with other staff on their idea requests.
- Visual and Graphic design for multiple entities.
- Brand Storytelling.
- Makes minor updates on websites on request.
We are proud to offer medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401K with company matching; and paid time off to all full time staff members. The work hours for this full time position are Monday-Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication,
- Highly organized,
- Detailed oriented,
- Able to work in dynamic, fast-paced environment,
- Customer focused mindset,
- Able to work under pressure.
Education, Work Experience, Etc.
- 1 year marketing and/or content creation experience,
- High School Degree required – College degree preferred,
- Aviation knowledge preferred but not required,
- Apple iOS,
- Hubspot – preferred,
- Experience with social media outlets,
- Microsoft Office.
