Job Description

We need a strategic and client focused leader skilled at building strong relationships with clients, understanding what they need in order to prosper, and inspiring and motivating their agency team partners to exceed client expectations. This person knows how to effectively engage clients and quickly get to the heart of what a brand and business needs to accelerate growth. They can translate this need to the agency team through effective creative and strategic briefs that result in amazing work that truly delivers against the client’s needs. They work closely with clients and their agency team partners to anticipate day-to-day needs and issues, and they ensure quality deliver to the client, on time, and on budget. They also play a key role in developing new client relationships and winning new business.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with assigned clients and a deep understanding of their business, needs, and operational preferences.
  • Deeply understand the capabilities of your agency team and what it takes to deliver different types of projects, work, and executions.
  • Effectively manage accounts with the goal of expanding the services and work provided, ensuring retention, and increasing profitability over time.
  • Develop and build new client relationships delivering incremental accounts. Play a key role in pitching and winning new business.
  • Translate client needs to your agency team in the form of strategic and creative briefs that inspire great work and create clear expectations.
  • Build schedules, budgets and proposals to win client work.
  • Manage projects from inception through execution. Fully leverage the agency workflow management platform.
  • Approve creative deliverables provided to the client, lead presentation to the client, gather feedback, and translate the feedback and needs back to your agency team.
  • Play a key leadership role in coaching AE’s and developing the Accounts Team capability.

Experience Guidelines

  • 5+ years of agency experience as an Account Executive.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • A proven track record of success across a variety of industries with small to large clients, including major campaigns.
  • Client side experience a plus.
  • Excellent relationship building, communication, and writing skills
  • Passionate about delivering amazing marketing that makes a real difference for the client.
