RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet and serve every client promptly, courteously, and professionally
  • Work in conjunction with our Parts Advisors to increase the efficiency of our Service technicians
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the Parts Department and surrounding areas.
  • Maintain inventory on shelves and in bins by performing perpetual inventories, restocking of parts, reporting any discrepancies in stock levels, and returning unsold items to stock
  • Continued knowledge of BMW products and services by training on-the-job and participating in educational and development programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Automotive background a plus
  • Must be able to work assigned scheduled hours
  • Must be able to work Saturdays
  • Car enthusiast or mechanically inclined a plus
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional appearance and great work ethic are a must
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize work in a fast-paced work environment05
  • Computer proficient (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of dealership management systems, ADP/CDK a plus
  • Clean driving record

COMPENSATION:

  • The Parts Assistant Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $18.00 and $20.00 —hourly compensation depends on experience.
