Gregor Industries is seeking an Administrative Recruiter for Human Resources to assist the Human Resources Department with the following:
- Use various platforms (job boards, social media, networking events) to identify and attract potential candidates.
- Review resumes and applications to shortlist candidates who meet the job requirements.
- Schedule and conduct initial interviews to evaluate candidates’ qualifications, skills, and fit for the company culture.
- Assisting with new employee hiring process
- Assisting with the recruitment and interview processes
- Develop clear and concise job descriptions for open positions.
- Use various platforms (job boards, social media, networking events) to identify and attract potential candidates.
- Maintain employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential
- Maintain quality service by following organization standards.
- Administer and evaluate pre-employment tests and assessments to determine candidates’ suitability.
- Conduct reference checks to verify candidates’ employment history and qualifications.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and other relevant team members.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to keep them informed and engaged.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information, interview notes, and hiring decisions.
- Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment metrics and activities to senior management.
- Assist with the onboarding process by preparing necessary documentation and facilitating new hire orientation.
- Ensure new hires have a smooth transition into the company by coordinating with various departments.
- Help promote the company’s culture and values to attract top talent.
- Represent the company at career fairs and networking events to build a strong employer brand.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with candidates, hiring managers, and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in screening, interviewing, and record-keeping.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address recruitment challenges and improve processes.
- Understanding of human resources principles, recruitment best practices, and employment laws.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and other HR tools.
- Effective time management skills to meet deadlines and handle high volumes of recruitment activities.
