Purpose

To support branch equipment sales & rental efforts by providing customer service for walk in and phone in equipment customers. To support all outside equipment sales efforts through building quotes, fleet management, paperwork processing, credit application & funding processes. To drive profitable revenue and improve market shares.


This sales position is responsible for driving sales through face to face, phone, and other electronic communication with customers and coworkers. This position is responsible for presenting and closing equipment rental deals as well as smaller equipment sales while forwarding leads for larger sales to the Outside Sales Rep. Also, responsible for coordinating delivery and movement of equipment to customer sites and inter company locations. The position is also the liaison between lenders and our Elkhart sales department and assisting in securing funding for equipment sales.


Primary Areas of Responsibility

· Driving profitable revenue through exceptional customer service

· Inventory tracking and fleet utilization

· Managing paperwork and paperwork flow through the sales and rental process

· Being the key point of contact for walk in and phone in equipment inquiring customers

· Resolving customer concerns if / when they arise

· Executing to paperwork standards and rental flow process

· Assist in managing the P&L for the rental department

· Using Technology as needed – including websites, smart phone, and our operating system

· Other duties as needed


Status of Position

Base Salary plus Commission

Requirements

· Must take ownership of this self-lead position

· 3 years+ success in the Agricultural or construction equipment industry

· Exceptional customer service skills

· Must be skilled with Microsoft office, including excel

· Must be able to use our operating system (DIS), our CRM, and manufacturer websites

· Ability to multi-task

· Good communication skills, both written and verbal


Preferences

· A desire to move to an Outside Sales position after mastery of the ISR position

· Relocatable within the Rueter’s Equipment foot print
