Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team at Summers Plumbing, Heating and Cooling. As an HVAC sales representative, you will be responsible for selling residential HVAC services and products to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their HVAC needs and provide solutions.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and provide accurate quotes for repairs and replacements.
  • Complete proposed work as quoted and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in on-call assignments and backup as required.
  • Attend all required staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Develop and maintain a professional and friendly work environment.
  • Sell equipment, accessories, and other promotional materials from the company.

Requirements:

  • Must have sales experience and the ability to learn about residential HVAC service needs, quote prices, and perform repairs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers in their homes and businesses.
  • Ability to understand residential heating and cooling equipment operation, IAQ, air distribution systems, and basic repairs of HVAC appliances and fixtures.
  • Physical ability to lift and maneuver equipment up to 25 lbs, crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend, and reach overhead.
