The Senior Quality Analyst will also mentor junior team members, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate product functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Lead the execution of manual and automated tests, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
  • Analyze and report on test results, identifying defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement, and working with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality assurance processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare and present detailed quality reports, including defect metrics, test coverage, and quality assessments, to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior quality analysts, supporting their professional development and ensuring high-quality analysis.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, best practices, and industry regulations throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in quality assurance and testing to continually enhance quality processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or testing, with a strong background in designing and executing comprehensive test plans and cases.
  • Proficiency in test management tools and software, including automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP), and defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in identifying, documenting, and resolving defects.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex quality issues and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and the ability to adapt quality assurance processes to different development environments.
  • Proven ability to lead quality assurance projects, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, quality best practices, and regulatory requirements related to quality assurance.
