Position Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Stockroom Utility Operator to join our team. The Stockroom Utility Operator will be responsible for managing stockroom activities, ensuring that inventory is organized and accessible, and supporting overall warehouse operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory.
  • Maintain organized stockroom shelves and storage areas.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
  • Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
  • Pick and prepare items for orders based on packing lists.
  • Operate stockroom equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
  • Ensure the stockroom is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Collaborate with other warehouse staff to support overall operations.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the stockroom supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or similar role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Familiarity with stockroom equipment and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
