Production Technician

We are seeking a skilled Production Technician to play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities at Phoenix Natural Resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily production surveillance on wells, utilizing advanced monitoring systems to identify areas of concern and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Perform thorough operations and maintenance checks on production facility equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance on equipment, or report to Supervisor as needed.
  • Accurately record production and injection reports, and enter data into our proprietary field insights platform.
  • Communicate daily with Lead Operator or Supervisor to discuss EH&S, production variances, and daily activity.
  • Conduct production tests on comingled tank batteries and enter well test data into our field insights platform.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, inspecting secondary containments for integrity and equipment for leaks.
  • Ensure assigned vehicle is in good working condition, including regular oil changes and maintenance.
  • Support all safety policies and procedures, utilizing our EH&S handbook for guidance.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership qualities, including flexibility, cooperation, positive attitude, good judgment, and effective communication skills.
Requirements
  • Work in a manner that promotes safety and well-being.
  • Possess strong leadership skills and the ability to make decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and possess basic computer skills.
  • Be able to read and understand technical information, and perform basic mathematical functions.
  • Be able to use general purpose hand tools, shovels, wrenches, etc.
  • Be able to climb several sets of stairs on a daily basis.
  • Be able to operate a 14'-26' boat with hp motor.
  • Possess at least 3 years of oil field experience.
  • Preference given to candidates living within 60 miles of our operational areas, but will consider rotational positions.
