Job Summary: The Lead Supply Chain Analyst will oversee and enhance supply chain processes to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness across the organization. This role involves leading a team of supply chain analysts, developing and implementing strategic supply chain initiatives, and working closely with senior management to align supply chain strategies with business goals. The Lead Supply Chain Analyst will drive continuous improvement, manage complex supply chain projects, and provide strategic insights to support decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain analysts, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high-quality analysis and performance.
- Develop and execute strategic supply chain initiatives to optimize inventory management, demand forecasting, procurement, logistics, and overall supply chain efficiency.
- Analyze and interpret complex supply chain data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, production, and sales, to ensure alignment of supply chain strategies with business objectives.
- Prepare and present comprehensive supply chain reports, including performance metrics, trend analysis, and strategic recommendations, to senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage and oversee supply chain projects, ensuring timely and effective execution and alignment with organizational goals.
- Implement and maintain best practices in supply chain management, including the use of advanced technologies and methodologies.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in supply chain management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain operations.
- Identify and address potential risks and disruptions in the supply chain, developing contingency plans and solutions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is highly desirable.
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain analysis or management, with a proven track record of leading supply chain projects and optimizing processes.
- Expertise in supply chain management software and tools, including ERP systems, data analysis platforms, and inventory management systems.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing talent.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a deep understanding of supply chain data analysis and strategy development.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex supply chain information to senior management and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment, with a strategic and results-oriented approach.
- In-depth knowledge of industry trends, supply chain best practices, and emerging technologies.
