Role Overview

We are thrilled to announce a new position within our Global Supply Chain (GSC) Business Transformation team for a Business Analyst.

This position entails data analysis, risk evaluation, sustainability/ESG oversight, and collaboration with diverse teams. The main goals are to enhance supply chain operations, mitigate risks, and improve supply chain resilience and ESG initiatives.

You will be a vital contributor to the formulation and execution of a robust resilience and sustainability strategy for the GSC organization.


Key Responsibilities
  • Implement essential business resilience and sustainability initiatives, monitor, and analyze metrics to create scorecards for the Supply Chain organization to drive and assess performance against the overall enterprise risk management and sustainability objectives.
  • Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of frameworks for effective Business Continuity Management across GSC to avert, respond to, and recover from significant adverse events.
  • Support the tracking and analysis of ESG supply chain initiatives, including human rights, responsible sourcing, scope 3 emissions, and supplier diversity.
  • Document policies and processes in line with industry standards and corporate guidelines, ensuring approvals and version control.
  • Lead communication strategies for stakeholders as policies and processes are updated.
  • Propose and implement frameworks and policies for the GSC organization to integrate resilience and sustainability into daily operations.
  • Collaborate on developing and executing risk mitigation strategies for short-term, annual, and long-term growth forecasts with the supplier performance management team.
  • Conduct source risk assessments and validate mitigation plans through testing.
  • Perform audits and generate reports for stakeholders regarding business continuity advancements and ESG impacts as necessary.
  • Ensure that supply chain resilience and sustainability efforts align with and support GlobalFoundries' overarching goals.
  • Engage with sourcing teams to gather, analyze, and maintain resilience and sustainability data on suppliers.
  • Implement appropriate business continuity management controls and risk mitigation strategies, considering specific business and geographical complexities.
  • Identify and prioritize various risks, including geopolitical, environmental, regulatory, and operational factors.
  • Facilitate periodic reviews of supplier compliance with GlobalFoundries' resilience and sustainability standards alongside the supplier performance management team.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Conduct all activities in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security protocols and programs.
  • Perform other duties as required to achieve the objectives of the team and organization.
  • Work collaboratively across cultures, including flexibility in working hours.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of professional experience in corporate, business continuity, and/or project management/audit, preferably within a technology setting.
  • Experience with data modeling or analytics tools such as Python, SQL, R, PowerBI, Tableau, or similar software.
  • Exceptional analytical, writing, verbal communication, and project management abilities.
  • Capability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain collaborative business relationships.
  • Effectively interact with all levels of the global organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Project management experience.

  • Relevant Professional Certifications.
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge related to business continuity planning.

Compensation


The expected salary range is $74,000 to $140,800. The final salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and location.
