Job Description- Under general supervision, develop designs, develop code, tests, debug, and document new software or enhancements to existing software.
Create high-level software design documentation and level of effort for functional requirements provided by the Government.
Create detail-level software design documentation for functional requirements provided by the Government.
Develop and/or modify the necessary software/programs to fulfill the functional requirements.
Perform initial testing of the newly developed code.
Work with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them. May assist in the development of software user manuals.
Focus of development expertise on SAP Business Objects
Possess technical competency to work on all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Possess an understanding of federal business applications
Knowledge of Oracle’s Application Development Framework is a plus
Nice to have a high level of technical and product knowledge, including:
- Oracle 11g Forms and 11g Reports, or later version
- PL/SQL
- Web Technologies (HTML, CGI, CSS, XML, JSON, JavaScript, Drupal/PHP)
- Source code control software
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in SAP Business Objects
- Must have received qualification on the most current version of the ITIL Foundation level. A certificate of completion is required.
- Must have received basic training on Agile software delivery methodology. A certificate of completion is required.
- All staff performing in a Scrum Master role, need Scrum Master certification. A certificate of completion is required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and technical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to complete a federal background investigation.
- Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card.
