Join Our Team and Inspire Young Dancers with the JOY of Ballet and Tap


We're seeking a passionate instructor to nurture a love for ballet and tap in our youngest students, from preschool to kindergarten. Ideal candidates exhibit patience, kindness, excellent classroom management skills, and a solid understanding of early childhood development. JOB DESCRIPTION:


SKILLS

  • Proficiency in instructing ballet and tap dance classes while adhering to a structured and engaging dance curriculum.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attend classes punctually and prepared.
  • Stay updated on studio policies, events, and deadlines, and contribute consistently.
  • Enforce the studio dress code for yourself and your students, emphasizing appropriate attire.
  • Guide students through our curriculum to ensure mastery and growth in their dance abilities.
  • Cultivate an energetic and disciplined class atmosphere, guiding students with enthusiasm and structure.
  • Engage in continuous professional development for ongoing learning and growth.

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS

  • Previous teaching experience
  • Dance certifications
  • Professional dance experience OR a college dance degree
  • Competition experience (bonus, not required)


REQUIREMENTS

  • Background check
  • YPAD certification and CPR training once hired

TEACHING SCHEDULE
