About the Department:
The Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center is a premier facility in Northern Virginia, offering a comprehensive range of amenities including a competition pool, leisure pool, and various fitness studios. The center is dedicated to promoting health and wellness in the community through diverse fitness programs.
About the Position:
As a Group Exercise Instructor, you will be responsible for leading engaging fitness classes tailored to various group sizes. Your role will involve motivating participants and creating a positive workout environment.
Required Qualifications:
We seek individuals who: Are knowledgeable in various fitness modalities, including Les Mills, aqua fitness, Pilates, Barre, cycling, dance, general conditioning, HIIT, Tai Chi, and cardio; Exhibit a dynamic, positive, and energetic demeanor, demonstrating reliability and adaptability; Have availability for evening and weekend classes.Candidates must possess professional fitness certifications, along with CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications. An audition will also be part of the selection process.
