At The Learning Experience, Lead Teachers are more than just instructors; they are champions of joy and learning. Our Lead Teachers lay the groundwork for lifelong learning, guiding both students and fellow educators to ensure consistent excellence in educational outcomes.


Compensation: Hourly $17.00-$20.00

Core Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Management: Design, prepare, and collaborate to create an engaging and nurturing environment for children to explore, learn, and develop.
  • Curriculum Delivery: Skillfully implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, tailoring your methods to meet the unique needs of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
  • Safety Commitment: Prioritize a secure and supportive atmosphere where children can flourish.
  • Parental Engagement: Keep families informed about their child's progress and achievements through various communication methods.
  • Team Collaboration: Work cohesively with center staff and leadership to enhance retention, enrollment, and community engagement.
  • Relationship Development: Build strong connections with families and colleagues, creating a harmonious environment where learning and play thrive together.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Requirements: Must comply with state-specific regulations for the position. A High School Diploma/GED is required; ECE coursework is preferred.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Experience: Significant experience in a childcare environment with a proven track record in classroom leadership. A strong passion for early childhood education is essential.
  • Compliance: Must adhere to state-specific guidelines for the role.
  • Meet all state and federal requirements, including performance standards, immunizations, and necessary health and safety training.
  • Caregiving Abilities:
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate potential risks in a childcare setting.
  • Ensure children's safety and meet their daily needs, including diapering, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Promote and model effective social skills, including communication and conflict resolution.
  • Keep children active, entertained, and engaged in age-appropriate activities.
  • Exhibit patience, composure, and professionalism consistently.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 40 pounds, reaching, climbing, and maintaining alertness.
