Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, logistics, and procurement within a digital print or similar industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient operations, optimizing inventory management, and maintaining high customer satisfaction standards through timely and accurate order fulfillment. The Supply Chain Specialist will collaborate with the Director of Operations and Production Managers to optimize inventory.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize the supply chain processes from procurement to fulfillment for digital print products.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and consumables, negotiating terms and pricing as necessary.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Plan and schedule inventory orders based on demand forecasts during peak seasons.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of orders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including suppliers, logistics providers, and internal departments.
  • Analyze supply chain data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement efficiency-enhancing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to supply chain operations.
  • Proactively resolve any supply chain issues that may impact production schedules or customer delivery commitments.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
  • Plan and manage physical inventory counts and audits in collaboration with department managers.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Supply Chain Specialist or similar role, preferably in a digital print fulfillment or related industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential; advanced skills in data analysis, reporting, and spreadsheet management are essential for success in this role.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
