THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sr. HR Manager to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have extensive HR experience at the management or director level, with a proven track record of building teams and managing people. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's HR strategy, systems, and processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a culture of sustainability and excellence.This is a great opportunity to make a big impact at a fast-growing company.

This role is 100% onsite 5 days a week.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead and manage all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Manage payroll processes, particularly for hourly and contract employees.
  • Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that drive organizational growth and sustainability.
  • Build out and optimize HR systems and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Utilize data to drive HR strategy and decision-making.
  • Create and administer cognitive and performance tests to support hiring and employee development
  • Oversee HRIS and ATS systems to ensure seamless HR operations
  • Collaborate with executive leaders and hiring managers to identify and implement best practices.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that aligns with the company's mission and values.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience at the management or director level.
  • Proven experience in building and managing teams in a startup or VC/PE-backed company.
  • Experience with data-driven HR strategy and decision-making.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with executive leaders and hiring managers.
  • Genuine interest in and commitment to environmental sustainability

NICE TO HAVE

  • Certifications in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).
  • Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
