Our company is currently searching for an Operations Financial Data Analyst responsible for analyzing historical data, trends and initiatives to predict future demands and resource needs We are looking for a motivated, self-starter to support taking the team to the next level. Our goal is to develop, coach and train J.P. Mascaro & Son’s future leaders This position is fully onsite and will be located at our Great Valley Division in Bridgeport, PA. To be eligible for this role, you must currently live locally.

What You Will Do:

  • Assists the Operations department in the identification, prioritization, planning development, coordination, support, and execution of high impact (immediate and long-term) improvement plans for effective and sustainable cost savings.
  • Evaluate current customer routes via routing software to determine best options for servicing customers and consistent review to determine necessary changes for timeliness and effective service as well as set up future routes as new bids are awarded and customers are added.
  • Researches and analyzes data to draw valid conclusions.
  • Evaluates and suggests new methods and techniques for operational improvement.
  • Leads projects that will enable the divisions to continually improve processes by identifying, sharing, implementing the best practices within and across all divisions.
  • Independently leads in-depth analytical projects with minimal supervision.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert for other team members, helping to foster growth and understanding within the team.
  • Confidently leads and presents results of analysis and recommendations in senior level discussions.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Special projects and responsibilities as assigned.

You Have/Are:

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a Junior Data Analyst or Data Analyst, preferably in Operations
  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, business administration, finance, or related field preferred
  • Strong quantitative abilities and problem-solving skills with ability to factor in qualitative aspects of an engagement to drive business decision making.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, initiative, and accuracy are a must.
  • Excellent organization and verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to recognize and meet deadlines
  • Experience with computers and scheduling
  • Experience with construction software is a plus
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be organized and motivated to succeed with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Advanced skills related to Microsoft Office software products

  • Experience in the waste, transportation, or manufacturing industry
