Our Director of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy to achieve revenue goals and elevate the hotel's market presence. Our Director of Sales and Marketing will be a strategic thinker with a strong and proven sales background from a hotel or resort, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to foster relationships with clients and stakeholders. The Director of Sales also oversees the sales team and works closely with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to meet revenue targets and increase market share.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, target markets, and trends.
  • Foster relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out new partnerships.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as marketing and revenue management, to create cohesive strategies that align with overall business objectives.
  • Lead the sales team by setting goals, providing training and coaching, and monitoring performance.
  • Oversee the creation of sales materials, proposals, contracts, and presentations.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitors to continuously adapt and improve the sales strategy.
  • Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management from an independent, boutique, or lifestyle hotel or resort.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven history of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, and marketing strategies.
