The Outreach Coordinator helps advance EFCC's mission and vision through coordination and logistical support of outreach events, volunteer onboarding and follow-up, managing external and internal communications, office management, and administrative support to the team.


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


Event Coordination (25%)

  • Assist in planning, preparing, coordinating, and hosting outreach events in the community and on campus.
  • Assist in onboarding of new volunteers and volunteer follow-up.
  • Facilitate on-campus meetings for volunteer ministry teams and external outreach partners.
  • Manage purchasing, event supplies, transportation, and other logistics for outreach events and ministries.

Managing Communications (25%)

  • Manage updates from missionaries, global partners, community partners, and ministry team leaders. Maintain the database and distribution lists.
  • Manage the external and internal communication and tracking of annual partner reviews, reporting forms, meeting minutes, MOUs, and project reports from partners.
  • Manage reservation system and housing for global partners.
  • Coordinate and support the care, hospitality, and housing teams in their ministry.

Office & Administrative (25%)

  • Assist the Outreach team in the administration and tracking of payments, problem-solving financial inquiries, and preparing financial reports for outreach teams.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including preparing and tracking agendas, minutes, and reports.
  • Answer general outreach inquiries.
  • Assist with logistics regarding mission teams, including purchasing, updating documents, and providing support while other outreach team members are traveling.

General Staff Functions (25%)

Participate in weekly Outreach Team meetings

  • Attend staff meetings, prayer times, and other staff functions
  • Support Outreach Team events, activities, and promotions on weekends as needed
Requirements:

Reports To the Outreach Director


Time Commitment:

  • 20 hours/week
  • Participation in the life of the body through worship gatherings, etc

Qualifications:

  • Commitment to EFCC’s Statement
  • of Faith, Mission & Values and passion for outreach locally and globally.
  • Experience in administrative or coordination roles.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Highly proficient in Google Suite/Office and database usage.
  • Able to manage projects independently.
  • Team-oriented collaborator.
  • Willing to work on weekends.
  • Bi-lingual preferred
