Foster Community Partnerships

  • The church is recognized as a reputable and effective partner in community transformation.
  • Community partners feel valued, supported, and empowered through their collaboration with the church.
  • Engagement in joint outreach initiatives aligns with the church's vision and is impactful.
  • The church facilities serve as a hub for community partners and service providers.

Enhance Community Impact Through Love Esco

  • Love Esco is expanding in scope and quality through new partnerships, projects, and events.
  • It serves as the primary volunteer platform in the area, effectively involving both church and non-church volunteers.
  • The platform fosters new collaborations and adds value for all stakeholders.
  • It exemplifies best practices in community engagement.

Empower Volunteers and Manage Support Systems

  • Volunteer leaders are trained and empowered to take charge in their areas of expertise.
  • All outreach volunteers receive intentional guidance towards their next steps in service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop Community Outreach Teams (20%)

  • Recruit, nurture, and support volunteer leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with the Community Outreach Advisory Team to implement effective growth strategies for each outreach area.
  • Maximize opportunities for holistic transformation of community members through effective partnerships and best practices.
  • Work with the Spanish-speaking team to create effective engagement strategies.

Foster Community Partnerships (10%)

  • Build relationships with key community leaders and stakeholders across various sectors.
  • Conduct regular visits and one-on-one meetings with outreach partners.
  • Collaborate with the advisory team to evaluate partner effectiveness and provide necessary support.
  • Work with the communications team to enhance the church's visibility in the community.

Create Outreach Opportunities Through Love Esco (50%)

  • Design and oversee projects and initiatives under Love Esco.
  • Develop strategies for effective volunteer engagement.
  • Manage partnerships and sponsorships in collaboration with the Love Esco board.
  • Promote and represent Love Esco within the community.
  • Oversee promotions and social media for Love Esco.

Empower Volunteers and Manage Support Systems (20%)

  • Recruit, train, and empower volunteer leaders and teams.
  • Ensure appropriate next steps for all volunteers.
  • Track all community outreach activities, volunteer engagement, and impact.

Qualifications:

  • Commitment to the church's mission and values.
  • A degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in community outreach.
  • Demonstrates qualities such as being a developer, proactive, strategic, organized, and collaborative.
  • A passion for developing others and unlocking their potential.
