We are looking to hire an Operations Specialist to join our Luxco team in St. Louis, MO. The purpose of this position is to understand our customers’ product needs and then meet those needs by communicating and coordinating through the Luxco supply chain. This position is integral to the Branded Spirits Maryville Operations team, as it leads the supply chain efforts for imported finished goods, inventory management for half of our control state warehouses and Single barrel orders. This position is also expected to be strong in all Epicor operational transactional activities and reporting to assist Operations and Planning Director as needed.

What will you do?

Off-Premise Management

  • Manage all aspects of the supply chain for Imported Finished Goods from Niche (Ireland) and DGL (Mexico).
  • Communicate forecasts, collaboratively create production schedules, cut PO’s, coordinate freight, and receive products upon arrival.
  • In coordination with these efforts, this person works with our Customs Broker on releases and withdrawals out of our Customs Bonded area.

Control State Customer Service

  • Customer Service for 11 control states through managing state warehouse inventory levels via Bailment Management Program and transfers, input customer PO’s, and communication with state contacts/Luxco DM’s on updates, issues and new item implementation.
  • This position is responsible for associated approvals in DocLink.

Single Barrel Order Coordinator

  • Responsible for inputting ALL open state single barrel customer purchase orders and updating internal spreadsheet.
  • Double check orders for accuracy and confirm back to customer any changes necessary for proper fulfillment.
  • Coordinate ship timing with Logistics and support customer through entire fulfillment process.
  • Additionally, this person is responsible for STL inbound Epicor transactions for single barrels produced off-site.
  • Approving associated invoices in DocLink.

Miscellaneous

  • Transactions, projects, and duties as assigned by Ops and Planning Director and MGP Director of Supply Chain.

What do you need to bring to the table?

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 3+ years in an operations support role, preferably within the food and/or beverage field with a strong understanding of operations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word.
  • Also, must possess good verbal and written communication skills, have strong multi-tasking and time management skills with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
