Job Summary:


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager/Director to join our team. This role is crucial for driving our sales strategy, expanding our client base, and achieving revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, preferably in the language services industry, and a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.


This role may require occasional international travel (at least twice a year) and emphasizes strong interpersonal skills. If you do not thrive in social settings, this role may not be suitable for you. Additionally, candidates should be prepared for the pressure of meeting ambitious goals, which may influence their decision to pursue this position.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities and build long-term relationships with clients.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports and present them to the senior management team.
  • Partnerships and Alliances: Establish and maintain strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance the company's market position.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction through effective communication and relationship management.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and evaluate the performance of sales initiatives and team members against set goals and KPIs.
  • Budget Management: Manage the sales department budget, including expenses and resource allocation.


Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Linguistics, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the language services industry or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
