Job Description

Brightspeed is looking for a Security Sales Account Specialist to join our team The Brightspeed Security team provides quality security and life safety services, including installation, service and monitoring of intrusion and fire alarm systems, as well as CCTV, card access, nurse call, intercom systems and SMART HOME.

As A Security Sales Account Specialist, your job responsibilities will include:

  • Drive growth by building new customer relationships while maintaining existing ones within an assigned territory
  • Communicate with new prospective clients to identify and understand their security needs; identify and suggest solutions based on those needs.
  • Design and present security solutions to prospective and existing client base
  • Design and present video surveillance solutions for prospective and existing client base
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the core product solutions offered while staying abreast of current market trends
  • Develop relationships with relevant industry partners
  • Identify new clients by researching and creating networking opportunities
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Utilize tools for tracking sales activity, close ratio, and monthly quota
  • Foster good public relations in community by representing company at local functions
  •  Prepare contracts, proposals, and supplementals to prospective clients and existing customers
  • Proactive prospecting and outreach to potential customers through commercial and residential door knocking, community events, and trade shows
  • Perform follow-up calls to new clients and send them satisfaction surveys
  • Maintain with care company vehicle, phone, and supplies
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Must be qualified to be licensed in all states where Brightspeed conducts business
  • Valid driver's license
  • 2-3 years of outside sales experience  
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated and strong work ethic
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Comfortable working in a performance-driven, high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Proven experience in lead development and researching potential clients.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to connect with new people regularly
  • Capability to independently contact customers, execute sales, and manage various tasks
  • Excellent communication skills with customers through in-person meetings, phone calls, and emails to comprehend their needs
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and demonstrate strong negotiation skills
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to closing and following up on sales transactions
  • Willingness to be on work weekends, extended hours, and holidays as required to meet the needs of the business

  • Experience with design and selling of life safety, card access, video surveillance, and security systems.
